noob question
Apologies if this is incorrectly placed or excessively noobish.....
I see a lot of items advertised with symbols, for example 15^50 and so on, as well as abbreviations such as r9 and q9. Is there any thread or guide to fill me in on the lingo? Additionally, are there any that give clues as to what constitutes a valuable weapon as opposed to merch food? Thanks in advance, W |

The correct forum for this would be in Q&A
Here are 2 links for what you would be looking for though http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/c...t10314661.html http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Category:Abbreviations For difference between merch food and valuable weapon you need to first see is it old school (non inscribable) or inscribable. Inscribable then price is determined by the req and rarity. For old school weapons it is determined by the req, inherent mod, and rarity. To a mod move this to Q&A plox. Marketability also depends on it being maxed damage. While casters will buy a higher requirement weapon for special purposes, there isn't any market for non-max weapons.
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Weapo...om/wiki/Weapon Price for weapons has nothing to do with the modifications or the inscription if they are removable. Pricing is dependent on the skin's popularity.
